National Libraries Day - Competition Results!

Since our last post two weeks ago, we've recieved many email with answers to our ten questions. The response has been much appreciated, but unfortunately there can be only one winner of the signed copy of Lee Child's Never Go Back. But before the winner is announced, let's go over the answers:

1—    The author of The Grapes of Wrath was John Steinbeck.

2—    The Comedy of Errors is the shortest of William Shakespeare’s plays.

3—    In George Orwell’s Animal Farm, the animals live at Manor Farm.

4—    The Artful Dodger's real name is Jack Dawkins.

5—    Noddy was a taxi driver.

6—    Don Quixote’s horse was called Rocinante.

7—    J.K. Rowling’s initials stand for Joanne Kathleen.

8—    The Owl and the Pussycat paid one shilling for their wedding ring.

9—    The word "pandemonium" was first used in John Milton’s Paradise Lost.

10—    Lee Child’s real name is Jim Grant.

As stated above, there can unfortunately be only one winner.
